Daddy's Birthday Celebration

Had Jap to celebrated dad's 50th belated birthday at Rakuzen, Publika.
'Happy Birthday, Dad!'
We had our own little private room to dine in. The room was neat & simple but the opening of the centralised air conditioning above me was blowing like a fan *brrrr* I had to switch seats with sis..
Overall, it was a pretty enjoyable experience in Rakuzen..

Here's what we had for the night..
Mine- Salmon set

Enjoying my Salmon set. They served a generous amount of salmon that is thick & fresh *Mhmmm*

We decided to keep in simple this year. Didn't want to get a full size cake cuz most of the time we'll end up eating a few slices & leaving the rest in the fridge for days..

Dad said,"This is the 'largest' cake that dad has ever had for my birthday".. He didn't mind at all as he himself suggested to just get a tiny dessert.. We hop over to Free Mori across the street & got this cute lil chocolaty thing :P

Little Mermaid's Birthday

Celebrated sis's birthday at The Smokehouse, Jalan Telawi Bangsar. It's a restaurant & Bar. Indeed it was a 'smokehouse'. We were seated inside & we were almost choked with smoke. Tables around us were puffing like nobody's business. We were a little uncomfortable at first as we were non-smokers but we managed to settle down and move to a corner which was less contaminated.
The Smokehouse serve thai as well as western cuisine. We decided to stick to thai for that night..

This was before the dimmed the lights. At about 10pm, they'll dim the lights & music gets a little louder..

Grilled Squid. This was really good..

Pandan Chicken. One of the best i've ever tasted. The chicken drumlets were delicious..
