Kissaten, Coffee & Restaurant, Jaya One, PJ

6th August
Monday

No monday blues coz it's a public holiday for selangor *woohoo*
Started my wonderful morning with Step Up Revolution @ Midvalley. I've been anticipating for this couple of months back when I first saw the trailer. After long-awaited, I finally had a chance to watch it. It did lived up to my expectations. They brought something new & fresh to the air. Their moves were wicked & sick. Dubstep made it even betterrr! It was way beyond awesome! I don't mind watching it again.. Seriously.. It's one dance movie should not be missed.

Anyways, after our movie we headed over to Kissaten for Kai Lin's Farewell lunch before she leaves to further her studies.. Boyfie & the rest were craving for pork burger yang betul betul kao, so the night before I went on the web searching for recommended porkie burger. Rebecca's blog will always be at the top of my mind when it comes to food. Checkout the link on her review at Kissaten.
Kissaten's pork burger was the 2nd on her list so it must be darn good coz I trust her fussy taste.. haha

Kissaten is located opposite Brussel's, one floor up..
Its a Japanese-style coffee shop that serves a variety of jap food & our local favourites

A choice to dine outside or inside

A complimentary cup of ice lemon tea if you like their fb page
Boyfie, myself & Kai Lin

Here's what we had.....
Teriyaki Pork Burger United!
Moist Juicy Porkie Patty for RM 10.90
It worth ever penny
Nyumsss* looks mouth watering isn't it..
Oh.Cute.Mini.Flags.. I have a thing for cute mini flags that sticks on food..haha
Can't wait to dig in out burgers
It was so messy to eat where the porkie juices+teriyaki sauce were oozing out yet it was so yummeh
Boyfie's mission was to try their pork burger & so was mine. He couldn't stop praising how good it was & rated it a 8.5/10. That's a pretty high score.

Look at his happy face
Bee's Katsudon - RM 15.90
The chicken was really crispy & tasty
 Wyncent's Katsu Curry Rice - RM18.90
 With ma loverboy

Well spent day with my love

18th June 12'
Monday

Finals were officially over since last wednesday! *woots*
Am currently enjoying my sem break for a month long..
Boyfie has been nothing but the best!! It's so cute that he was even more excited that I am for me to finish my finals. Last week immediately after my last paper he brought me to Sunway Pyramid for ice cream to satisfy my craving.
We ended up having Stickhouse's then back to his place for din dins & durian feast after dins.
Next day.... he accompanied me to uni to settle my enrollment for next sem. Went & get haircut & back to my place for dins with some uncles at Restaurant de foodland, Kepong.
Saturday, he woke up as early & joined me for jungle trekking at 730am. It was quite an experience together :)

As for today, we went to Paradigm Mall's GSC to redeem free tickets to catch Mirror Mirror. I heard it was pretty good but I didn't have the time back then to watch it. This was the perfect opportunity to catch it prior to GCS's grand opening. We got there as early as 1030am & redeemed our tics within 5mins. They was no queue at all. I heard the queue was massive over the weekends. I've decided that weekdays would be the best & true enough I was right. Ample of seats & we got one of the best seats. Center of the center in the hall #win :)

We headed over to Subway & we were just in time for their breakfast promo
Breakfast strip for us..

Hit the cinema for Mirror mirror
I'd say it was quite nice.. Pretty hilarious

Soon after our movie ended, we had lunch at Paradise Dynasty..
It kind of reminds me of Dragon-i a lil..
Boyfie's been telling me they serve really yummeh 'Xiao Long Bao' (mini chinese dumplings) & their La Mian is really good..
view taken from where we're seated..

Sliced ginger with vineger to go with siew loong bao

Here's what we had...
Mine - La Mian with sliced pork ( One of their signature La Mien)
It was really good & the portion was pretty huge with generous amount of sliced pork *yums*
Boyfie - La Mian with stewed beef briske
Absolutely delicious. Huge portion with generous amount of well seasoned beef.

The famous 8 legendary Xiao Long Bao
Boyfie asked me to try the szechuan one 1st..
I'd say not everyone would like the taste of it. It has its own unique taste of spiciness..
We finished the Xiao Long Bao first before it cooled down or else it won't taste as good..
Wallop our noodles & yumm yumms.. I was extremely full to the brink :)
Sat on sipping on chinese tea & talking about almost everything with me boy.
The service was good & they make sure your tea is always refilled
Enjoyed the lovely lunch very much! Thanks baby!!

Big Buddha in the middle of the restaurant

Open kitchen concept where we watched how to make & serve La Mian
Boyfie picked out a almost similar top to pair with what I was wearing. How cute :)
Love youu bao! *smoochess*

Boyfie accompanied me to do some grocery shopping at Giant & we headed back to his place for din din. An incredible day with my love! Thanks for everything bao!

Friday the 13th

Friday
13th April 12'

Helloooo dearies!
How have y'all been? Did you guys notice it's friday the thirteen? Somehow it just crossed my mind *random* Anyways, my one week mid sem break is coming to an end :( Time flies.. felt like it was just yesterday my sem break started.. well well.. Am so not excited to be back in uni next week. It's gonna be a hectic week..

Back to my updates..

Did y'all know Maybank Malaysian Open 2012 is here? I guess it just applies to those who golf..like myself.. i'm a golf if you didn't know.. social golfer ;)
The tournament started yesterday but baby & myself were busy so we went to watch the game today instead. It's held in one the most prestigious golf clubs in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) which is nearby my place to watch the game. I managed to watched Alvaro Quiros & some of my amature friends who played as well. I'll probably blog more in detail on my next post..

Towards the evening, we left the club just in time before the sky pour. We reached home & got ready real quick & head over to ou along with sis to catch Battleship. On our way to ou, it was raining cats & dogs & we could hardly see the road. Plus traffic was building up & we were afraid that we'll be late for the movie. Thankgod we reached just in time before it started *wheww*

So far Battleship is the movie of the year
I'd give it a 4/5
Action pack with a tinge of love story..
After movie, it was time for din din..
We decided to have Pepper Lunch Express in Food Republic
I don't know why but I think the 'express' outlet taste better than the normal one. Plus its slightly cheaper.
So happens, they were running on a double up deal where you only have a choice of Salmon Pepper Rice +  Beef Pepper Rice for RM 18.80 (N.P RM22.80). Twas pretty affordable & so we decided to take the promo set :)

Mine - Salmon Pepper Rice
Well served in sizzling hot plate
I loveeee the corns. They're huge and sweet :)
 Baby - Beef Pepper Rice
How do you eat?
1. Mix them up evenly as there is a butter and sauce in the middle of the plate.
2. The more you mix them up, the more delicious!!

3. Lastly, add sauce!! (There's Garlic soy sauce & Honey brown sauce) The meal wouldn't be complete without sauce :)
Mixed
It's really yummeh but very heaty coz they spread generous amount of black pepper, so be sure to drink lots of water or else you might end up with a sore throat.

Before we end the night, we dropped by Snowflakes in Damansara Uptown coz sis was craving for it..
Once we got there, Poor ZenQ next door was so quiet (Pak wu ying - smack flies). Where else, Snowflakes was pretty packed.

I had Japan Combo II for the 1st time.. Usually i'll stick to my all time favourite Soya Series set 2 or 4 :)
For a change, I decided to try something different for that night. The greentea taro balls was something different & it tasted okla..
Greentea taro balls, red bean & mini pearls
Recommended by me, sis had Soya Series set 4
Black Jelly, Red bean, Pearls & Taro

I turned legal

Wednesday
4th January 12'

Spend my birthday morning with my babes, Mel & Dorie (known them back since I was 10).
Our friendship has been more than a decade. Glad that both of them were back on time to celebrate my bday with me. We decided to hangout together in Pavilion. Mel came over earlier in the morning & I drove us down to meet Dorie. I brought her to try one of the best fried prawn mee in Pav's Food court.
After some camwhoring session with Mel, Dorie finally arrived. As usual, she's always fashionably late. Nonetheless, we still enjoyed the afternoon together to the fullest.

Did a lil' shopping with the girls & towards the evening I had to rushed home cause they boyf will be coming over to take me out for dinner. Was really looking forward to see him :)

That night itself, baby brought me to Eurodeli, Damansara Kim for german to celebrate my birthday. They recently renovated the place & it's such a lovely place to dine it.
Baby said their pork knuckles are finger liking good & so I had that for dinner.

This is what we had for the night...
 Mine
His

My pork knuckles are deliciousssss. The skin is very crispy & the texture of the meat was so tender. I couldn't finish my portion & tapao-ed back
Baby is stuffing the last bit of sausage. The sausages are damn filling. Just 3 & it's enough to kill you. Lol
What a lovely dinner. Kisses for you
 My lover boy

After dinner, we headed over to Tropicana City Mall to catch Alvin & the Chipmunks 3. It was still hot in the cinemas after being released for 2 weeks. We still managed to seats but 3rd row from the screen. Well, better than nothing. I expected it the movie to be pretty good but it was so-so only.
Nonetheless, the movie did not matter but what I cherished the most was spending the night with my babyboy. Thanks for such an amazing night, love!
Love you to the bitsss
