Namoo on the Park, Korean Dessert Cafe N Bistro @ Publika, Solaris Dutamas

5th August 12'
Sunday

Happy Sunday, Peeps!
I know I haven been blogging as often.. Been pretty tided up with assignments :(
Anyways, here's a quick post to share with you guys since I managed to take a little time off on my peaceful sunday :)

I was at Publika couple of weeks back for lunch & my babe suggested Namoo for dessert. We went all around the block but couldn't find it #fail.
As for today, I did my homework & found out exactly where it was located before heading over.
We parked at block D2 & took the escalator one floor up to G3.
Namoo is situated directly above MPH.

Namoo is the first korean dessert cafe in Malaysia. They mainly serve korean dessert & food with a modern twist. The decor is contemporary modern with its interior mainly made outtve wood which gives the cafe a warm ambiance. Overall, it's pretty cozy & quiet place to chill with friends.

Btw, don't you love the cute Namoo mascot with it's chef hat :P

Notice the stairs on the right? The section was closed so I didn't managed to see what was it like. Wonder what does it looks like upstair..
Interior

You can either sit inside or outside by the mini playground

We took a seat inside as the ambiance were much nicer with its warm lightings
I didn't notice they have a hook under the table until I paid attention to the mini note on their serviette.. How cute

 Here's what we had

The King's Bing Soo (A choice of Milk Tea or Green Tea) RM 12.90
Shaved ice with rice cakes, red beans and ice cream sprinkled with multi-grain powder
We had Milk Tea flavour. I'd say it's something different & pretty yummeh for a dessert lover like me.
The portion served is just nice for two
Hottuk Pancake - RM 9.90
Korean-style pancake with mixed berries jam & ice cream
To me it tasted as if there was cinnamon in the pancake. I'm not a fan of cinnamon so I don't favour this.
Bulgogi Beef Burger - RM 19.90
Korean marinated beef, mixed vegetables and sliced onions, potato wedges served with a fresh toasty burger bun
The sliced beef were well marinated & taste delish :)

Dishes were nicely decorated with a mini Namoo Cafe flag.. shooo cute :)

Read some pretty good reviews on their rice burger. Something outtve the ordinary. Apparently it's a healthier version for burger. Not to mention, the service was pretty good. There's once where I accidentally dropped my cutlery on the floor & next thing you know the waitress was already at my table replacing a new one for me. Same scenario happened to Dorie & they were so observant & immediately replaced it. Plus, the waitresses/waiters were very polite. I'll definitely go back again for another visit & explore more on the menu :)

Had a lovely evening with you babe! Thanks for the company :)

Valentine's Day

Tuesday
14th February 12'

It's Valentine's day. A day where love fills the air, it's all around and it's in your heart. All around the world, flowers, chocolates, candies & gifts are exchanged between loved ones. For those of you who celebrated with your other half, I hope you had a memorable one. Whereas for those who are still looking for your Mr. Right & Ms. Right don't be upset & don't jelly for not having someone, it's not what everyone calls the 'Single Awareness Day' (S.A.D) or the most overrated #foreveralone day.
Trust me, no one is forever alone. Everyone has their own special person in mind where they can always turn to when things aren't right. Valentine's is not for just couples only to celebrate but it's also a special day where you show appreciation to your loved one, like family, friends & relatives.

So how did I celebrated mine this year?
I would say it's rather simple but yet very meaningful..
I told my boy, I need no fancy dinner, no flowers & expensive gift.
All I want is for us to spend quality time together...
I remembered baby left work early just for me, once he got to my place he asked me to open his backpack & inside there lye a huge pink envelope written with I  U & by your beloved hubby *melts*
I opened the envelope & there's a teddy bear card with music.. Awww.. He wrote a sweet poem which i'll always remember. Never would I thought he'll write something so sweet. Thanks baby!
On the other hand, I don't have much to offer him. I made him a ♥ shaped bookmark & a letter :)
Hope you like it baby..
Treats for him

Later that evening, we left for ou & decided to try Seoul Garden for dinner. Baby treated me like a princess that night. It was quite an experience dinning there. The spread wasn't all that good but I enjoyed our time together. Right after that, we hit the cinema for Underworld Awakening.
I've redeemed my complimentary voucher the day before so that we'll have good seats.
After movie ended, we had moocow for the 1st time *nyumss*
I would say, it's one of the best froyo I've tasted.
Strawberry flavoured

It was a simple yet memorable day. Thanks for everything baby! My love for you will never cease.
Heart you so much babyfoo

Happy Chinese Valentine's Day

Monday
6th february 12'

Happy Chinese Valentine's Day or Happy Chap Goh Meh. I didn't know 'Chap Goh Meh' is chinese vday till this year. It's a public holiday so baby happens to be off & we decided to spend the day together.

Baby was craving for Pan Mee so I brought him for the famous chili pan mee in town, Kin Kin Chili Pan Mee @ Jalan TAR. This restaurant serves dry & soup with a beautifully poached egg (our favourite).
There's no Big or Small serving, all served in a standard size.
As usual, i'll always take dry & baby takes the soup one.

The restaurant is always packed especially during peak hours. There was once where we had to wait for half an hour to be served. Luckily this time, it took roughly 15mins for it to be served.

After lunch, we went to Pavilion for a walk & I did a little photoshoot for baby. I'm no professional photographer but I do like snapping pics :)

With my hubbieboo
Love life-size teddy bears. They're are tall as me & so huggable
Can I have one too, baby? hehee.. jk :P
Love you piggieboo
A couple of shots to share with you guys..
He was my best model for the day..
My handsomeboi

*Candid* Baby snapped this while I was pouting my lips
I know you like this shot the most, baby :P

The sun was scorching hot that afternoon & the heat was getting to us. I was then craving for something icy cold.. We hopped over to Lot 10's Food court, Lot 10 Hutong

I had ice kacang! It was a blisss on such a hot weather

As for dinner, I brought baby to Daorae Korean BBQ @ Hartamas
We had 2 sets of bbq meat & a set of spicy tofu with pork belly.
That amount of food was enough to kill the two of us. LoL
It looks really spicy but guess what, it's not spicy at all. I usually order this whenever it dine in Daorae. Its' delish :)
A well spent day with my boy. Enjoyed every bits of the day & a satisfying dinner. Love you heaps
