MyBurgerLab, Seapark

[28.08.12]
Tuesday

My very 1st visit to MyBurgerLab with baby, sis & her mystery guy. The lab that everyone's been talking & sharing pictures about. I was curious when I first saw my friends posted pics bout their burgers. Burgers with black buns? Interesting and different indeed. I've guessed they were made outtve charcoal and I was right :)

My Burger Lab  has been opened for less than a month but the response has been overwhelming. Operation hours are from 5pm – 11pm, Tuesdays to Sundays. Closed on Mondays.
Apparently, people start to queue even before they open in order to secure themselves with a place to sit. Burgers are selling fast every minute & usually sold out by 8pm. Wowza!
Word of advice, be there by 5pm sharp to minimise your waiting time & to avoid going off hungry with an empty stomach!

To avoid being disappointed, I decided to go on a weekday bcoz I knew the crowd will be horrendous during weekends. We arrived half an hour after it opens. It was already full house and the queue was starting to build up.
Thankgod we managed to grab a table after one of our friend who was there earlier left.
We 'Chop' his table while we were queuing. Otherwise, we would probably have to stand & eat.
It didn't take too long before we were served. I'd say we waited for 20-25mins max :)

Queue. Order. Give your name. Pay. Collect at the counter when your name is announced. Before that do lookout for your number.
With ma babyboy. He's a big fan for burgers :P

This is what we had...

Sis - A++ (One of their signature burgers) - RM 14
(Grilled chicken with Sharp cheddar cheese, caramelised onions, enoki and shitake mushrooms)
She pointed out that chicken was a bit dry as compared to the beef patties after she tried mine.
'Aiyaa, should have ordered beef patty instead'.

Boyf - Say Cheese (Cheese lovers, this is for you) – RM11.00 (Ala Carte)
(beef patty, sharp cheddar & Parmesan crisp)
Lip smacking cheesy burger *nyums*

Boyfie ordered a set which serves with french fries topped with rosemary herbs & their special sauce + a bottomless drink..
Myself - Hangover burger  - RM16.00
(beef patty, crispy hash brown, maple syrup and mushrooms)
I'm not a fan of chicken fillet burgers so I straight went for beef patty :)
The beef patty was juicy, tender and succulent..Yumss.. & hashbrown just adds on to the crispiness
The guys ordered set while we girls ordered ala carte ;)

We were in and outtve the shop within 45mins. We didn't want to sit on and hold the table. It wasn't very nice as it was getting very noisy, crowded & people were just randomly standing at every corner of the table to 'chop' the table. The queue building up & people queue all the way up to the entrance. Right before we left, chicken fillet was sold out. That was merely an hour after they opened. Wowza! So remember guys, Go early! :D

After that we headed to Alexis, The Gardens where I met up with my highschool mates for a catch up..

Close friends - Jia Wen & Kok Siang
If people didn't know them better they would've thought they are a pair :P

Kissaten, Coffee & Restaurant, Jaya One, PJ

6th August
Monday

No monday blues coz it's a public holiday for selangor *woohoo*
Started my wonderful morning with Step Up Revolution @ Midvalley. I've been anticipating for this couple of months back when I first saw the trailer. After long-awaited, I finally had a chance to watch it. It did lived up to my expectations. They brought something new & fresh to the air. Their moves were wicked & sick. Dubstep made it even betterrr! It was way beyond awesome! I don't mind watching it again.. Seriously.. It's one dance movie should not be missed.

Anyways, after our movie we headed over to Kissaten for Kai Lin's Farewell lunch before she leaves to further her studies.. Boyfie & the rest were craving for pork burger yang betul betul kao, so the night before I went on the web searching for recommended porkie burger. Rebecca's blog will always be at the top of my mind when it comes to food. Checkout the link on her review at Kissaten.
Kissaten's pork burger was the 2nd on her list so it must be darn good coz I trust her fussy taste.. haha

Kissaten is located opposite Brussel's, one floor up..
Its a Japanese-style coffee shop that serves a variety of jap food & our local favourites

A choice to dine outside or inside

A complimentary cup of ice lemon tea if you like their fb page
Boyfie, myself & Kai Lin

Here's what we had.....

Moist Juicy Porkie Patty for RM 10.90
It worth ever penny
Nyumsss* looks mouth watering isn't it..
Oh.Cute.Mini.Flags.. I have a thing for cute mini flags that sticks on food..haha
Can't wait to dig in out burgers
It was so messy to eat where the porkie juices+teriyaki sauce were oozing out yet it was so yummeh
Boyfie's mission was to try their pork burger & so was mine. He couldn't stop praising how good it was & rated it a 8.5/10. That's a pretty high score.

Look at his happy face
Bee's Katsudon - RM 15.90
The chicken was really crispy & tasty
 Wyncent's Katsu Curry Rice - RM18.90

Namoo on the Park, Korean Dessert Cafe N Bistro @ Publika, Solaris Dutamas

5th August 12'
Sunday

Happy Sunday, Peeps!
I know I haven been blogging as often.. Been pretty tided up with assignments :(
Anyways, here's a quick post to share with you guys since I managed to take a little time off on my peaceful sunday :)

I was at Publika couple of weeks back for lunch & my babe suggested Namoo for dessert. We went all around the block but couldn't find it #fail.
As for today, I did my homework & found out exactly where it was located before heading over.
We parked at block D2 & took the escalator one floor up to G3.
Namoo is situated directly above MPH.

Namoo is the first korean dessert cafe in Malaysia. They mainly serve korean dessert & food with a modern twist. The decor is contemporary modern with its interior mainly made outtve wood which gives the cafe a warm ambiance. Overall, it's pretty cozy & quiet place to chill with friends.

Btw, don't you love the cute Namoo mascot with it's chef hat :P

Entrance
Cashier
Notice the stairs on the right? The section was closed so I didn't managed to see what was it like. Wonder what does it looks like upstair..
Interior

You can either sit inside or outside by the mini playground

We took a seat inside as the ambiance were much nicer with its warm lightings
I didn't notice they have a hook under the table until I paid attention to the mini note on their serviette.. How cute

 Here's what we had

The King's Bing Soo (A choice of Milk Tea or Green Tea) RM 12.90
Shaved ice with rice cakes, red beans and ice cream sprinkled with multi-grain powder
We had Milk Tea flavour. I'd say it's something different & pretty yummeh for a dessert lover like me.
The portion served is just nice for two
Hottuk Pancake - RM 9.90
Korean-style pancake with mixed berries jam & ice cream
To me it tasted as if there was cinnamon in the pancake. I'm not a fan of cinnamon so I don't favour this.
Bulgogi Beef Burger - RM 19.90
Korean marinated beef, mixed vegetables and sliced onions, potato wedges served with a fresh toasty burger bun
The sliced beef were well marinated & taste delish :)

Dishes were nicely decorated with a mini Namoo Cafe flag.. shooo cute :)
 With Dorie babe <3 br="br" nbsp="nbsp">

Read some pretty good reviews on their rice burger. Something outtve the ordinary. Apparently it's a healthier version for burger. Not to mention, the service was pretty good. There's once where I accidentally dropped my cutlery on the floor & next thing you know the waitress was already at my table replacing a new one for me. Same scenario happened to Dorie & they were so observant & immediately replaced it. Plus, the waitresses/waiters were very polite. I'll definitely go back again for another visit & explore more on the menu :)

Had a lovely evening with you babe! Thanks for the company :)
