Hey lovelies!
Happy Good Friday! It is a day observed on the Friday before Easter Sunday.
On this day, we christians commemorate the passion, or suffering, and death on the cross of Jesus.
Anyways, so did y'all spend your day?
I've no class on friday and so I decided to spend the day with my boy. Ever since he started class this week, he's been pretty tight on schedule and his timetable is all over the place. We could hardly spare each other time cuz when i'm having class, he'll be having break & vice versa *blehh*
Nonetheless, we're trying our best to make things work :)
I went over to his uni during lunchtime, accompanied him, watched him play pingpong & foosball & had lunch at Backofen with his friends.

What's for lunch?
Mine - Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich with roasted potatoes
The portion is quite big. I would say this is very affordable for the price you pay, RM9 and I was full to the brink. The roasted potatoes were well seasoned and it tasted so good except it was a bit toooo oily..

Boyf's - Meatloaf with potato salad
Pretty pricy for such a small portion, RM14. However, it was not too bad & i love the potato salad

Before I ordered, I was eyeing on the cakes and i wanted to have the oreo one. It's so tempting.

After stuffing myself with the sandwich, I had no room for dessert..lol

After lunch, we dropped by Sunway Pyramid to do a little grocery shopping coz we decided to cook dinner..

Before heading to Jusco, we had Moo Cowww for dessert *nyums*

In the evening, we prepared dinner together. I made salad & the boyf made the main course

Chicken breast marinated with bbq sauce, steamed asparagus & carrots, cherry tomatos & a bowl of yoghurt mixed salad

After enjoying a satisfying meal, we cleaned up the kitchen and got ready for City Harvest's Easter Service, Chromeheart Revelation

We were running a bit late cuz I helped my boy while he was rehearsing for his presentation the next day.

We reached around 840pm when service started at 830pm. Once we got there, it was full house & we had no place to stand but the stairs. Slowly everyone were filling the stairs..

In between praise & worship, the usherers directed us to sit on the choir's seats & we were right in front of the stage but we had to share seats..

It's okayy if you've missed out part 1 but be sure not to miss out Part 2. The performance is absolutely amazinggg! :D

4th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Festival 2012

I was anticipating for the International Hot Hair Balloon @ Putrajaya two months before they have it. I've marked my calendar way ahead & was so excited to see huge & colourful hot air balloons float the skies of Putrajaya..

Thankfully, Ah bee (baby's friend) was nice enough to sacrifice his car for the day to run up and down. Petrol and toll must be quite a pinch for the day. Baby drove ah bee's car to pick me up for a late lunch @ 1 Utama's Wong Kok Char Chan Teng to enjoy their birthday promo where they give you giganto cup of complimentary milk tea. The promo is only valid 3 days before & after your birthday. I've always been eyeing on this promo but haven had a chance to get a taste of it. I was looking forward to try it out for baby's bday & coincidentally we were sharing the same thought :)

We meet up with wycent & his girlf for lunch too to share the giganto milk tea..

Towards the evening, we left for Hot Air Balloon Fiestaaa..
I was afraid that i'll miss watching em float in sky cuz the weather was starting to get pretty gloomy. I was so anxious and excited that I kept asking baby to drive fasterrr..fasterrr lahh..lol

We reached around 6pm and the crowd was still pretty happening. I would say the weather was perfectito :)
 

The bridge looks amazing. It's way prettier during the night when it's lighted. You'll see it as you scroll further down :)

Only one or two took off but the rest decided not to fly cuz the wind condition wasn't too good that evening..

Soon after, the sun set & it was din din time & our tummy were growling. We were spoiled with so many choices of food & couldn't decide on what to have. We decided to settle for jumbo hot dogs cuz the queue was one of the shortest..lol
Besides that, we had char kueh tiew & also chocolate snow ice *nyumss*

After satisfying our hunger we walked over to have a peep of the bridge..
my my..isn't it pretty? & it changes colour every 5secs :)

Moreeee & moreee hot air balloons was set up.. Gorgeous isn't it.. It's my 1st time ever seeing so many of them lighted up together..

The crowd was so happening that night & many were still sticking around cuz there'll be fireworks.

I chose to go on saturday cuz i knew they'll be popping fireworks. 

We kept waiting and waiting & finally around 930pm. Binggg banggg boooom!! *fireworkssss*

We were at one of the best spot. Fireworks were just right above our head. It felt so magical to watch fireworks with you someone you love. A moment to remember ♥

Right after the firework, everyone was making their way to their car.. Thankfully we didn't get stuck for long. Otw home, we dropped by ss2's wai sek kai for supper & baby dropped me home :)

It was such a lovely day!! Definitely a day to remember. I enjoyed bits of my day especially spending time with my boy. Thanks my love ♥

The day has finally arrive. It's baby's 22nd birthday!

I went over to baby's place during noon. Otw to his place, I picked up a cake from RT Pastry, SS15. It's one of those bakery that you wouldn't want to miss! They sell the best cakes & pastries. They're so good that it keeps you wanting for more :) I was so excited with what i've picked out for my boy & was hoping that he'll loveee it! hahaa

Soon after that, reached baby's place & we left to pick his bro, Henry from uni for lunch. 

We had White's Kai Fan! My ultimately chicken rice stall in Sunway which is just opposite Sunway Uni's side gate. We had a quick lunch & off we go to Sunway Pyramid to ice skate! 

Ice skating has always been my boy's thing. He used to be a really good ice hockey player but sadly he does not play anymore but he still skates amazingly well. 

I remembered our 1st date was at Pyramid Ice. I didn't know he was so good with skates & he really impressed me! *Psst pssst guys out there* if you wanna impress a girl.. learn how to ice skate & bring her to skate. Trust me, she'll be impress when you teach her & constantly hold her hands & waist just to make sure that she doesn't fall.. hahaha :)

Anyways, once we got there we were shocked that it was packed especially lil' kids & we remembered yikes it's school holidays. Which means the rink's gonna be crowded & exceptionally expensive. It's twice the normal rate *blehh* Oh well, since we were there already might as well just go for it & plus baby & his bro were equipped with their own skates. Oh how i love hockey skates. They're so coool. Baby said he'll get me a pair of hockey skates one day.. I just can't wait to have my very own pair!! :)

Ah bee & Da ming joined us to skate too. We skate for almost 4 hours & it was freaking fun. Definitely one of the longest hour i've ever skated. I've learnt how to skate better & to brake on ice. That's an achievement :)

Sadly, no pics of skating coz we're so excited to be on ice & i forgot to snap snap..

Once we're done with skating, we quickly rush home to get ready for dinner. I brought baby for jap, Hokkaido Ichiba at The Gardens Mall. We reached close to 7.30pm & there was a long queue. Thankfully I made a reservation the day before & we need not to queue :) 

They seated us on a table for 6. Spacious for just the two of us & it was next to the window. The view was pretty :) The ambience was really nice & the service was pretty good.

Not to mention, it taste really good. Very appetizing. For once I got something out of the ordinary. 

Usually its the typical chocolate cake but this time vanila strawberry cake for a change :)

What a wonderful day! Am glad that we are able to celebrate his birthday for the 2nd time together. Indeed it was a tiring day but every bits of it was worth it just to see the glow & smile on his face!
