Dim Sum @ Yuen Garden

Sunday, 29.08.10

As usual, on sundays i will attend church. Today I visit another church, Glad Tidings, pj cause mummy said that they're having a special speaker, Bob Fritz ( can't really recall his name correctly) lol.
When we got there he was song leading on stage and later he preached a msg.
At the same time he is also known a motivational speaker. Most of the time he was telling stories but they were funny laa..I think he's not so much of a preacher but a motivational speaker :)

After service ended, dad met up with his friend and that uncle brought us to have dim sum @ Yuen Garden, ss2. I didn't know they've converted Sri Siam into a dim sum restaurant.
It was so packed when we got there cause it was during lunch time.
The dim sums were pretty good..

Here's what we had :)

one of the best egg tarts i've tried.. i ate all 3..lolso *yummeh*

That's dim sum-ing in ss2. Now that i've rmberd, its been quite some time since i had dim sum..lol!
Not too bad, it looks pretty decent and nicely decorated inside @ Yuen Garden :)

A get-together with my dear darlings

Friday, 27.08.10

Cheers to another unforgettable day with my dear darlings!
Today falls on a public holiday where almost all of us can make it for our lunch date.
Unfortunately, Ee Lain & Lee Wen babe couldn't make it to join us :(
Next gathering must come kie! It not we all tak bagi muka already wan ah..lol!jk!
Hopefully the next time round when we plan again, the 7 of us can make it!
Sounds like seven sisters right?! The 'chat chi mui' haha..
We planned to meet at Midvalley 11 am through tweeting.
Twitter has been a great tool for us to communicate :) All of us have twitter accounts EXCEPT Ee lain! Ah moii, cerrrpattt create an account to tweet with us kie :)

I got up very early in the morning not to get dolled up but to do my assignments *gah*
That's not the 1st thing you would wanna do when you get up in the morning.
i had no choice since im going out later. Assignments sucks! They kill youu =/

When it was time to meet with the darlings, i left my place and headed to mv.
As always, I prefer to park in Gardens. When I got into Garden parking lot around 11.15am, to my surprise people were already parking at all the illegal spots. This is crazyyy wei..
I made so many rounds and literally stalking people to park my car. After 20 mins of going cuckoo, I gave up. Surprisingly when i turned into this lane, there was an empty parking spot waiting me. It's for ME! Sometimes its such a joy of getting a parking spot at crowded malls like this. Do you feel the same?
Met up with the babes and we had lunch @ Sushi Zanmai.
Lianne joined us later but we were kind enough to save her sushiiiess. What we ate is what she get :P

Cheers to cold ocha..

Snowflaking (:

Wednesday, 25.08.10

It's debate day for marketing!
Oh boy am I nervous. It feels like its been ages since I've speak in front of a crowd.
The last time was....back in sunway uni where I was doing my foundation.
back then presentation and debate was something that we have to do almost every week.
Imagine..even if u were a scardicat to face a crowd..I can assure you by the time you graduate from foundation. You'll feel the numb-nest for presentation (:
It was certainly a great experience and great exposure back in sunway.

So here I am doing my 1st year in metro. Planning to major in management & marketing a.k.a M&M (:
For the 1st time in my 2nd sem we had to do a debate for marketing class..lol!
Aiyaah, should have snap pics of our debate teams to show you guys. I forgot cause I was busy practicing my lines for debate..haha
Thankfully it all went well and I'm glad its overrrrr (:

After class, I went over to ss15 to cod with someone.
Amanda & Carmen accompanied me. Thanks dearies!
On the way back to uni we passed by the 'S' word!
Snowflakes!! It's been ages since i last had snowflakes..I had a sudden crave for their icy cold desserts!
It was the perfect dessert in such a blazing hot weather :)

Here's what we had :)
It's my 1st time trying this and *thumbs up* for it!
The ice is soak with soya bean *nyums*
shoooo nicee! :)

Not to forget, we had the all time best seller! :)

That's pretty much how wednesday went by!
Snowflaking is awesomeeee! (:
They should have more outlets everywhere.. Agree?hehe

Dorie's 2nd farewell gathering

Saturday, 21.08.10

This is one last gathering with dorie babe before she flys the next day to Boston =/
We had a small get-together with our old time church mates Tania and Germaine.
We were glad that Evelynn joined us too..Unfortunately our another 'lynn' (siew lynn) couldn't make it :(
Dorie pick The Curve. Since she'll be leaving tmr, I decided to pick her up. It would be my last time having her to sit in my car till she comes back..haha
We got to curve and had a lunch date with the rest at Italiannies.
It was great to catch up with one another although it was pretty short.
After lunch we walked around the flee market for a bit and we decided to leave.
I drove dorie to DJ to pick up her music cert and drop her home.
I'll be seeing her the next day for the very last time *sigh*

Germaine, Tania, Dorie & myself (:

Group picha (:

That's a wrap for our day out (:

I sent dorie to the airport the next to bid her last goodbyes.
It was hard seeing her go but I didn't want to shed tears in front of her because she was already crying like a big baby..haha..i know its hard for her to leave but its even harder for me to see her leave.
The number of years of friendship that we've shared tells it all.
We've been there for each other through happiness & sorrows. No one can ever replace her as she remains deep inside my heart as a cheerful, fashionable, straight-to-the-point babe.
She's been one of my true-est friend of all times and i'm so blessed to have her in my life!
Thanks for everything dear!
Will miss you tons back home!
I love you babe!
