I managed to enjoy 3 rounds of watching the pros play from friday till sunday with my baby :)

Day 2 (Friday)

Baby picked me up from my place & we left for KLGCC at 11am. We parked inside Kelab Sukan Negara Bukit Kiara & took the complimentary shuttle bus which ferried us to the entrance & we took a ride on complimentary buggy service by RICOH to ferry us up the slope and dropped us at the indoor car park where we were greeted with a cup of steamed kacang kuda. We then made our way to the entrance and visited some of the pros at the driving range who were warming up before their game.
We followed Charl Schwartzel & Alvaro Quiros's flight for a bit & left towards the evening before it started pouring

Here's Alvaro's flight with Jeev Milkha Singh & Tetsuji Hiratsuka at tee box 1

Alvaro Quiros is baby's idol..He's been wanting to see him live & now he finally had a chance to see him.
Quiros is a gentleman who always wear a bright wide smile. Plus, very charming looking :)
He's looking at my camera *snapppp* ;)

Midway following Quiros's flight, baby experimenting the umbrella where he doesn't have to hold it with his hand :P
Us camping in between hole 3, 4, 7 & 12. One of the best spot :)
Wearing our Razr Cap from Callaway
Baby brought snackies to munch on.  Roadies crispy cheddar potato skin *yummeh* & he tied with some stem he found. How brillianté

Very scenic golf course with a mini waterfall at hole 12's green
After watching the pros we decided to show some support to my friends who were playing..
Waited for Nicholas Fung at hole 12 & watched him play for one hole & waited on the green for Abel Tam to approached. We followed him and supported him til hole 15 and we make a move coz the weather wasn't looking too good..

Day 3

Baby came over & had breakkie at my place before shooting off for the 3rd round. Mumsie dropped us together with dad & bro for the game. Unfortunately, once we've just reached, it started raining cats & dogs. We waiting patiently nearby the driving range & tee off for round 3 was delayed till 1pm plus. Once the sky has cleared, we were watching the pros teeing off at tee box 1. Just when I wanted to follow the pros, I received a call from dad saying that he wants my camera & I had to go all the way to the range to lend it to him. He was hogging my camera & all I did was to wait & wait. I was afraid that my memory card would run out coz I've only 8GB to spare. I asked him twice for my camera & he was furious and threatened to break my camera. wtff? I worked and saved up to buy a camera for myself & he act as if it's his. He totally ruined my day. I stomped away with watery eyes leaving my camera with him & baby was nice enough to get it back for me. Thanks babyboo! You're the best!
Not long after that, I decided to go home & walked home together with baby & bro. It was quite a walk & midway it started pouring. Thankgod we bumped into bro's friend & he gave us a lift home. Towards the evening, I watched baby, bro & his friends played basketball & I was wondering who's gonna tapao who.. Looks like baby still has it.. He tapao-ed the boys.. He reminded me of how much I used to admire guys back in highschool who were really good in basketball. I guess.. if he was in my high school back then, I'm sure to have my eyes on him.. hahahaa :P

Day 4

I attended early morning church  service at 830am before heading off for the last day of MMO 2012. I was hoping for good weather so that the players were able to finish round 3 as it was suspended the day before due to rain & finish the day with round 4. If the tournament was just based on 3 day's score, that'll be so potong steam for everyone. Thankgod it was a bright sunny sunday. Perfect weather for golf!
Baby picked me up from church with a couple who joined us for the day, Michelle & Chua.
He bought us mcd's chicken muffin for brekkie. I'm not so much of a fastfood person but recently i've tried the chicken muffin & it tasted so good. It reminded me so much of their nugget. What more it's only RM 2.50. Extremely affordable :)
The crowd was massive as it was the final day. We were able to find a sweet parking spot under the shade but far far deep in the sports complex.

Once again we were camping at our sweet spot under the shades in between the holes.
Here we have Matteo Manassero teeing off at hole 4 par 3
The couple who joined us. Michelle & Chua :)
Thanks for coming along you guys!
Baby bought brekkie. We look as if we were picnic-ing in the golf course :)
Yumms* To me a burger is not complete without chili sauce :P
Baby enjoying his burgerrr
Hold me tight & never let me go
Piggieboo is the cutest! I lurb you
Matteo Manassero on green 6

After that, we hopped over to another hole to watch Martin Kaymer
There you have him in light blue on the right :)

After Kaymer, we saw David Lipsky who's an ABC teeing off at hole 16
Lastly, we followed the championship flight, Louis Oosthuizen, Jbe Kruger & Hennie Otto
Louis (Blue) Jbe (Green)
Hole 18. Surrounded by so many spectators
 Jyothi Randhawa at hole 18
Forgot who's this.. whoops.. While approaching 18 green, his ball landed on one of the marquees's roof & he was given a free drop within 2 club length from point of entry

Louis Oosthuizen of South Africa stripped the title from Matteo Manassero & was crowned as champion in Maybank Malaysian Open 2012 with a total score of 17 under, beating Stephen Gallacher from Scotland by 3 strokes.

I still remember when I first introduced golf to baby, which was a year back, he was all excited bout holding the golf club & he would spend hours practicing in the range to improve his shots. He has become a golf maniac thanks to me.. haha! However, I'm glad that he showed great interest & took up the sport seriously. It'll definitely benefit him in future :)

The first time I brought him to watch a golf game live was last year's Maybank Malaysian Open, followed by the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia and Ladies Professional Golf Association. This would be the 4th time we're watching a golf game live together. I'm so glad to have someone like him who shares the same interest even though he took up the sport later. I always enjoy walking around the golf course with him & it feels as if we're talking a stroll in the park..hehee :)
Thanks for the wonderful company, my love! It wouldn't have been the same without you.

Anyways, I would like to share with you some of star players who played which are also my fav too..

☆ Star Player
I was glad that I managed to watch Matteo Manassero, a young cute italian chap who was last year's defending champion which made him the youngest ever winner in the tournament's history *psst psst* He's sis favourite player & she would only step out to the golf course and brace the heat to watch him play...
Unfortunately, he was unable to defend his title this year but he still managed to play a fairly good round with 9 under in which he's tied for 7th place
Last year's Champion for Maybank Malaysian Open 2011, Manassero topped the leaderboard with a total of 16 under (272)

You know what I mean... She was so lucky to snap a shot with him * envy*

Star Player
Besides that, managed to follow Martin Kaymer for a couple of holes. He sure did played some fantastic shots for his last round & shot 9 under after a total of 4 rounds :)

☆ Star Player
Alvaro Quiros was one of the crowd's favourite too. He won the European Tour last year, 2011.
Unfortunately, he struggled to maintain his form and shot a total of 4 under after 4 rounds which put him at 29th place. Nonetheless, it was a great experience to watch him play :)

☆ Star Player
Charl Schwartzel shone in 2012 with two consecutive European Tour wins. He shot 11 under lying 6th place

The last round ended just in time before the sky turn grey. Immediately after the game, we walked towards the entrance & queued for the shuttle bus. My-oh-My.. the queue was insanely long. It was a dreadful wait when you're leg are tired & all you were craving for was something icy cold that'll give you brain freeze. At that moment, I was craving for A&W's rootbeer float. That'll be a bliss. Soon after we got into our car, we went over to ss2 & it was a bummer to find out that A&W was closed for some reason..dammit! We saw a truck which sells coconut water & each one of us took a cup to quench our thirst. Twas soothing :) We took a walk looking for something cold and icy & we came across isenbin - Authentic Taiwanese Handmade Desserts. I have not try other taiwanese desserts other than Snowflakes & so we thought why not give it a try..

I order the soya ice & grassjelly combo with a choice of 3 toppings (Kidney beans, green tea taro balls & pearls) Very similar toppings to what I had the other day, Japan Combo II at Snowflake..

The first thing I noticed, isenbin's ice are pretty rough & aren't that smooth as compared to Snowflakes. You can still taste the ice bits. It's like ice kacang's ice. The toppings were not too bad. However, I just couldn't get used to chewing the ice bits. Definitely prefer Snowflakes over isenbin! Snowflakes FTW! :D

Well, that's pretty much just it for this post on sharing with you my experience in Maybank Malaysia Open 2012.
That's all for now. Thanks for tuning in, lovelies! Have a wonderful week ahead :)
