Happy 17 Months, love

Another month has passed, we're getting closer to break my record of 18months+.. haha
Anyways, that's not the point.. hours, days & months does not prove anything..
What matters the most is that we're happy together! We enjoy each other's company be it cooking together, golfing, gyming, swimming, watch drama or just lye in bed having pillow talks.
Be there for each other through ups and downs in life
(You were always there to support me through the hardest time in my life)
Tolerate each other's wrong doings, bad habits & stubborness
(I know most of the time you are the one who tolerate me)
Laugh at each other's lame jokes & whatnot..
Argue on the tiniest matter sometimes but still choose to stick around & etc..

I'm proud to say that you are not only my boyf but also my best friend at the same time..
Thanks for making these seventeenmonths a magical one!
You never fail to put a smile on my face & made me feel beautiful all the time :)
I'm truly the luckiest & happiest girl on earth :D
Here's to more months to come..

I love you long time Terence Foo Kai Wai   :)

Friday Joy

Started off my day by dropping sis to uni & soon after that headed over to the boyf's place to cook him brunch. I know he loves western cuisine, so there I was to pamper him with a lovely brunch.
Cooking has always been my 'thing'. I loveeee to cook. Be it western or chinese cuisine. I cook to express my feelings of love & how much they mean to me by making the extra effort to plan & prepare.  I love to make a mess while I cook but dislike cleaning & washing up after the mess has been done. I guess we all don't like cleaning up..right? haha
I dare not say my cooking taste absolutely delicious but at least it looks somewhat presentable & of course edible.. HAHAH! So far, whatever that I've cooked for my boy, he'll finished every single bit that is served on the plate. Idontknow is it that yummeh, or coz he's hungry or finish up just to give face to me (pei min). Lol! Nonetheless, my effort are not wasted :) & thankgod he's not fussy when it comes to food. Everything that i've cook he'll compliment me by telling me 'This is my favourite, Hou hou sek ah, I like it cooked this way, yummms & etc... hahaha :D
Glad that I've someone to enjoy my cooking from time to time <3

I'll probably share with you guys more dishes that I've cooked or cooked with my boy in the past next time :)

Specially cooked for my boy
Toast bread, scramble eggs with diced tomatoes, lettuce, zucchini, black pepper sausages & juicy tender beef patty
Boyf did contribute to our brunch by making us each a cup of apple smoothie *nyums* & also my personal kitchen assistant. hee.. Thanks baby :)

Hope you enjoyed the brunch my love :)

After a satisfying brunch & I had to say byebye to my boy & left to pick sis up from uni..
Guess what... off we go to Paradigm Mall..Again.. twas my 4th time in 3 days.. lol
She wanted to shop.shop.shop..

While we were walking around, I came across A Saloon & they were running on a promo of cut, wash, blow for only RM38. Since I've been wanting to my hair cut, why not give it a try kan (super spontaneous)
Getting your hair wash & neck massages are ze best in a saloon. It's so relaxing..
Decided to chop couple of inches to get rid of ze split ends and whatnot.. ended up chopping 4-5inches.. Toodles to waist length hair :(
Ever since I was a little girl, I kept long long hair & I remembered once when I was 6, my aunty brought me to the saloon and chop of my waist length to a length just beneath my ears. I was so mad at her, got home & ran to my parents in tears. I'll never ever forget that painful moment..
I've always been the girl who keeps her hair long till waistline. I love it long coz it makes me feel more feminine and that I can play around with it by curling, plaiting & etc...
This time round, I had it cut straight instead of the usual where I layer my hair.
My hair looks thicker, more voluminous & healthier even though I can't totally get rid of the dry ends. Had my side swept bangs again & trying to get used to it.. It usually takes a week or 2 for the hair to look more natural & normal..
All I have to do is wait... :)

Taaa daaa~~
Mid-length hair cut by Yew (Cute, friendly lady hairstylist who looks very korean)

That's all for now, dearies!
Thanks for tuning in..
Till then. xoxo :)

Paradigm Mall @ Kelana Jaya

23rd May 12'
Wednesday

Newly opened Paradigm Shopping Mall situated at the heart of Kelana Jaya along LDP Highway.
This adds up to my list of another exciting retail therapy which is just 15 mins away from my place. Glad that there'll be a cinema as well, Golden Screen Cinema which will operate in mid June.
Taa daa~~ Another option on the list for movies :)
The boyf & I have been looking forward to visit the mall. Well, especially my boy coz he spend 3 months long interning for this project by WCT. My boy did contribute to the building of the mall too.. haha

On it's grand opening day, we got there slightly passed noon & it was already pretty packed and happening. Boyf took me on a tour around the entire mall, from one end to the other. I would say the mall is not too huge nor too small & it's designed in an oval shape. Pretty easy to make your way around. More or less 95% of the shops are already opened. I noticed there's a whole lot more F&B outlets as compared to others. Almost every corner you'll see a restaurant. I'd say a pretty good place to dine in as you'll be spoiled with choices :)

A peek of how it looks like..

We made our way down to lower ground (LG) where there were more FOOOD!
First time we came across, Cielo Dolci which serves Gelato & they were giving out free gelato.
Who doesn't like free stuff right? We quickly hop in to join the queue. We were allowed to pick 3 different flavours to try. There were like the size of BR ice cream tasting. Just a mini spoonful :)
I tried chocolate, passionfruit & green tea. Chocolate & Green Tea was so rich & good but passionfruit tasted a bit weird. Boyf tried pineapple, mango & durian. The funniest thing was it all tasted like durian coz they were placed in the same cup. LOL! However,  durian flavour was really good! :)

Soon after, it was time for some real dessert..
Tong Pak Fu here we comeee :D
Black Sesame Snow Ice
Dayummm.. it was so goood. Usually I eat black sesame tong sui (zhi ma wu) which is hot/warm..
This is icey cold & it gently melts in your mouth! yummeh :) However, I didn't like the side toppings as the pearls were hard & not chewy. Strawberries were sour =/
One portion was just nice to share between the 2 of us :)

With my love
He purposely picked out a pink top to match me for the day :)
Not many guys can pull off a pink top but he did..haha

 mmmhmmm :)

Pretty lamps in TPF

Mr. Clowns were passing by with colourful helium balloon!
I wanted one too but shy coz people would probably think so big girl already still carry balloon around the mall mer..lol
OH look, he was smiling at my camera :D

After dessert, we walked for a bit & along our way the boyf saw an abandon balloon sticking up the ceiling. He jumped as high as he could and grab hold of it for me. How cute. He got me not one but two. How sweeet is that. Thanks baby! I walked around the mall with balloons & felt like a kid again.. haha

In LG, we had Porridge Time
We ordered a pot of Fish Porridge to share..
mmhmm it was delish.. Sipping on nice hot porridge when were were freezing our ass in the mall..
The air conditioning is freaking cold *brrr*

The next day, which is today.. I visited the mall with sis coz Brands Outlet & Padini Concept Store are officially opened. There was massive sales in Brands Outlet & we were glad that we got there early. Shorts for men & women were as low as RM9. Buy 1 Free 1 promo signs were all around the shop. Glad that I managed to picked up 2 bermudas for my boy & a couple of shorts for myself :)
Sale is only till this Sunday, 27th May. Hurry peeps!

Shortly after that, we grab a cup of juice from Juice Works. Buy 1 Free 1 promo again till this sunday :)
Be sure to visit the mall within these 3 days to not miss any of the promo from any shop. I'm sure many others are running on their special promo :)

Btw peeps, I would suggest that you guys park in the basement. It's so much better than making multiple rounds twirling up and up to level 3 for parking. It's so annoying. We tried that on the 1st day & 2nd day we tried the basement. In my opinion, basement parking is definitely a better option :)

Oh did I mention that this week is one of the funnest & happiest week of my life? haha..
I've been seeing my boy 4 days straight this week. Make it 5 including tomorrow..lol..It's been awhile since we get to see each other so often due to our hectic schedule but boy i'm glad he's on his mid sem break & i'm on my study break so that gave us room to see each other more often :)

Anyways, thanks for tuning in guys. I know I haven been blogging for quite a bit.
Finals are just around the corner. I'll defo blog more often after finals!

Fat Boy's Burger Bar @ Publika, Solaris Dutamas

1st May 12'
Tuesday

Heyyo! How're you guys doing?
It's been 2 weeks since I last blogged cuz i've been pretty busy with assignments as my semester is coming to an end.. 3 more weeks to go & it's finals.. So not looking forward to it..
Anyways, back to what I was about to share with you guys..
It's labour day & the boyf decided to have lunch at The All Famous Fat Boy's Burger Bar.
I've been telling him how much I want to try those giant burgers when I first accidentally walked pass the restaurant while I was finding my way outtve the maze in Publika. I could get lost there cause every block looks pretty much the same and they're just so confusing.. Probably bumping around the area a couple more times would help me to be more familiarized on where is where.

Even though Publika is just 10mins away from my place, I hardly come by. I think this would probably be my 3rd time? I can see this place is coming up pretty fast & drawing crowd especially on weekends. I guess soon enough it'll be a new hangout spot to eat, shop & chill.

Boyf picked me up with his 2 other friends & off we go for lunchieee..
We reached the restaurant around 1ish & it was packed till we had no place to sit..
I would say most of the people that were seated were hungrily waiting for their burgers to be served..
We thought... my-oh-my.. the wait could be pretty long & so we head out to Ben's who was just across the block & there people on a waiting list.. That's what you get on a peak hour =/

At last we decided to stick to Fat boy's & wait!!
10mins later we were seated *yays*
Anddd.. unexpectedly, Fat Boy's is owned by boyf's godgranny's bestfriend's daughter.. small world..

Fat Boy's Burger Bar Menu

You could also mix & match your own burger to suit your taste bud

The burger counter

Here's what we had for lunch...

Boyf's - Fat Basterd (RM28)
Signature burger that everyone has to give it a try :)
Double beef patties, extra thick bacon, cheddar cheese, fried egg and homemade Fatboy's sauce on sesame bun
Every single ingredient is what I would love to have in my burger. I was so tempted to order this but I know I won't be able to finish it, so I left it for the boyf to order & I'll just nibble on it :P

mmhmm.. mouthwatering isn't it :)
I'd say this would be one of the best pick!
The beef patty were so juicy, tender and succulent. Together with cheese & egg. Oh-its-heaven :)
Definitely worth trying!

Mine - Jamaican Me Hungry (RM 19)
Jerk seasones bacon stuffed Pork patty topped with sundried tomatoes, chewy bacon, homemade coleslaw and smothered with mayonnaise on sesame bun

I was contemplating whether should I take Bleu Peppercon (Beef) or Jamaican Me Hungry (Bacon)
Since my boy is taking beef, I thought I should try something else & so I opt for bacon patty
To my disappointment, it wasn't that good. The patty was pretty dry & tasteless. I couldn't taste the porkieness at all.. It was blunt :( Plus I didn't like the sundried tomatoes, it was pretty awful =/
I think Bleu Peppercorn would have been a better pick. You can't go wrong with beef right?

Kah poh ordered Bushtucker (RM 19.50)
Grilled beef patty, extra thick bacon, melted emmenthal cheese, beets, topped with wild arugula ang garlic aioli on a whole meal bun

Fat Basterd

Jamaican Me Hungry
No burger is complete without mustard & chili sauce :)
Boyf enjoying his share

After satisfying our tummies, we took a walk around Publika to explore & see what they have..

Boyfie look so cute over here.. I just have to upload this.. haha :)
 Us

We went back to my place late afternoon to shoot some hoops & played badminton #Funtime
Even though I was pretty cranky during the start of the day but I was very happy at the end of the day. Thanks for everything, love! I enjoyed my day to the fullest!

3 major winners,
156 player
Only 1 Champion

I managed to enjoy 3 rounds of watching the pros play from friday till sunday with my baby :)

Day 2 (Friday)

Baby picked me up from my place & we left for KLGCC at 11am. We parked inside Kelab Sukan Negara Bukit Kiara & took the complimentary shuttle bus which ferried us to the entrance & we took a ride on complimentary buggy service by RICOH to ferry us up the slope and dropped us at the indoor car park where we were greeted with a cup of steamed kacang kuda. We then made our way to the entrance and visited some of the pros at the driving range who were warming up before their game.
We followed Charl Schwartzel & Alvaro Quiros's flight for a bit & left towards the evening before it started pouring

Here's Alvaro's flight with Jeev Milkha Singh & Tetsuji Hiratsuka at tee box 1

Alvaro Quiros is baby's idol..He's been wanting to see him live & now he finally had a chance to see him.
Quiros is a gentleman who always wear a bright wide smile. Plus, very charming looking :)
He's looking at my camera *snapppp* ;)

Midway following Quiros's flight, baby experimenting the umbrella where he doesn't have to hold it with his hand :P
Us camping in between hole 3, 4, 7 & 12. One of the best spot :)
Wearing our Razr Cap from Callaway
Baby brought snackies to munch on.  Roadies crispy cheddar potato skin *yummeh* & he tied with some stem he found. How brillianté

Very scenic golf course with a mini waterfall at hole 12's green
After watching the pros we decided to show some support to my friends who were playing..
Waited for Nicholas Fung at hole 12 & watched him play for one hole & waited on the green for Abel Tam to approached. We followed him and supported him til hole 15 and we make a move coz the weather wasn't looking too good..

Last shot. Baby posing with the Trophy :)

Day 3

Baby came over & had breakkie at my place before shooting off for the 3rd round. Mumsie dropped us together with dad & bro for the game. Unfortunately, once we've just reached, it started raining cats & dogs. We waiting patiently nearby the driving range & tee off for round 3 was delayed till 1pm plus. Once the sky has cleared, we were watching the pros teeing off at tee box 1. Just when I wanted to follow the pros, I received a call from dad saying that he wants my camera & I had to go all the way to the range to lend it to him. He was hogging my camera & all I did was to wait & wait. I was afraid that my memory card would run out coz I've only 8GB to spare. I asked him twice for my camera & he was furious and threatened to break my camera. wtff? I worked and saved up to buy a camera for myself & he act as if it's his. He totally ruined my day. I stomped away with watery eyes leaving my camera with him & baby was nice enough to get it back for me. Thanks babyboo! You're the best!
Not long after that, I decided to go home & walked home together with baby & bro. It was quite a walk & midway it started pouring. Thankgod we bumped into bro's friend & he gave us a lift home. Towards the evening, I watched baby, bro & his friends played basketball & I was wondering who's gonna tapao who.. Looks like baby still has it.. He tapao-ed the boys.. He reminded me of how much I used to admire guys back in highschool who were really good in basketball. I guess.. if he was in my high school back then, I'm sure to have my eyes on him.. hahahaa :P

Day 4

I attended early morning church  service at 830am before heading off for the last day of MMO 2012. I was hoping for good weather so that the players were able to finish round 3 as it was suspended the day before due to rain & finish the day with round 4. If the tournament was just based on 3 day's score, that'll be so potong steam for everyone. Thankgod it was a bright sunny sunday. Perfect weather for golf!
Baby picked me up from church with a couple who joined us for the day, Michelle & Chua.
He bought us mcd's chicken muffin for brekkie. I'm not so much of a fastfood person but recently i've tried the chicken muffin & it tasted so good. It reminded me so much of their nugget. What more it's only RM 2.50. Extremely affordable :)
The crowd was massive as it was the final day. We were able to find a sweet parking spot under the shade but far far deep in the sports complex.

Once again we were camping at our sweet spot under the shades in between the holes.
Here we have Matteo Manassero teeing off at hole 4 par 3
The couple who joined us. Michelle & Chua :)
Thanks for coming along you guys!
Baby bought brekkie. We look as if we were picnic-ing in the golf course :)
Yumms* To me a burger is not complete without chili sauce :P
Baby enjoying his burgerrr
Hold me tight & never let me go
Piggieboo is the cutest! I lurb you
Matteo Manassero on green 6

After that, we hopped over to another hole to watch Martin Kaymer
There you have him in light blue on the right :)

After Kaymer, we saw David Lipsky who's an ABC teeing off at hole 16
Lastly, we followed the championship flight, Louis Oosthuizen, Jbe Kruger & Hennie Otto
Louis (Blue) Jbe (Green)
Hole 18. Surrounded by so many spectators
 Jyothi Randhawa at hole 18
Forgot who's this.. whoops.. While approaching 18 green, his ball landed on one of the marquees's roof & he was given a free drop within 2 club length from point of entry

Louis Oosthuizen of South Africa stripped the title from Matteo Manassero & was crowned as champion in Maybank Malaysian Open 2012 with a total score of 17 under, beating Stephen Gallacher from Scotland by 3 strokes.

Martin Kaymer (most left), Louis Oothuizen (center) & Alvaro Quiros (most right)
Miniature golf. Putting competition for charity

I still remember when I first introduced golf to baby, which was a year back, he was all excited bout holding the golf club & he would spend hours practicing in the range to improve his shots. He has become a golf maniac thanks to me.. haha! However, I'm glad that he showed great interest & took up the sport seriously. It'll definitely benefit him in future :)

The first time I brought him to watch a golf game live was last year's Maybank Malaysian Open, followed by the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia and Ladies Professional Golf Association. This would be the 4th time we're watching a golf game live together. I'm so glad to have someone like him who shares the same interest even though he took up the sport later. I always enjoy walking around the golf course with him & it feels as if we're talking a stroll in the park..hehee :)
Thanks for the wonderful company, my love! It wouldn't have been the same without you.

Anyways, I would like to share with you some of star players who played which are also my fav too..

☆ Star Player
I was glad that I managed to watch Matteo Manassero, a young cute italian chap who was last year's defending champion which made him the youngest ever winner in the tournament's history *psst psst* He's sis favourite player & she would only step out to the golf course and brace the heat to watch him play...
Unfortunately, he was unable to defend his title this year but he still managed to play a fairly good round with 9 under in which he's tied for 7th place
Last year's Champion for Maybank Malaysian Open 2011, Manassero topped the leaderboard with a total of 16 under (272)

You know what I mean... She was so lucky to snap a shot with him * envy*

Star Player
Besides that, managed to follow Martin Kaymer for a couple of holes. He sure did played some fantastic shots for his last round & shot 9 under after a total of 4 rounds :)

☆ Star Player
Alvaro Quiros was one of the crowd's favourite too. He won the European Tour last year, 2011.
Unfortunately, he struggled to maintain his form and shot a total of 4 under after 4 rounds which put him at 29th place. Nonetheless, it was a great experience to watch him play :)

☆ Star Player
Charl Schwartzel shone in 2012 with two consecutive European Tour wins. He shot 11 under lying 6th place

The last round ended just in time before the sky turn grey. Immediately after the game, we walked towards the entrance & queued for the shuttle bus. My-oh-My.. the queue was insanely long. It was a dreadful wait when you're leg are tired & all you were craving for was something icy cold that'll give you brain freeze. At that moment, I was craving for A&W's rootbeer float. That'll be a bliss. Soon after we got into our car, we went over to ss2 & it was a bummer to find out that A&W was closed for some reason..dammit! We saw a truck which sells coconut water & each one of us took a cup to quench our thirst. Twas soothing :) We took a walk looking for something cold and icy & we came across isenbin - Authentic Taiwanese Handmade Desserts. I have not try other taiwanese desserts other than Snowflakes & so we thought why not give it a try..

I order the soya ice & grassjelly combo with a choice of 3 toppings (Kidney beans, green tea taro balls & pearls) Very similar toppings to what I had the other day, Japan Combo II at Snowflake..

The first thing I noticed, isenbin's ice are pretty rough & aren't that smooth as compared to Snowflakes. You can still taste the ice bits. It's like ice kacang's ice. The toppings were not too bad. However, I just couldn't get used to chewing the ice bits. Definitely prefer Snowflakes over isenbin! Snowflakes FTW! :D

Well, that's pretty much just it for this post on sharing with you my experience in Maybank Malaysia Open 2012.
That's all for now. Thanks for tuning in, lovelies! Have a wonderful week ahead :)
