Trip to Kuching

Thursday, 16.09.10

It's Malaysia Day!
I didn't know since when Malaysia Day was declared..lol
Anyways, I'm glad there's such thing cause it means holiday!
Today I flew to Kuching with mummy for the ING Roadshow which is held at The Springs shopping mall. Apparently it's the newest and the largest mall in Kuching.
I took bout 20mins to walk the entire mall so I guess its not that huge for us kl-ians..lol
We departed from klia bout 730pm and we arrived in kuching international airport bout slightly after 9pm. We managed to catch the hotel's shuttle to our hotel, Four points by Sheraton at bout 930pm.
We checked-in and call it the night.

Day 2
Breakfast in hotel is one of my favourite :)

As soon as I got back from breakfast, the boys are awake..lol

When it was bout close to 930am we head to The Spring Mall for the Roadshow.
The sand art corner was the most happening one among the lil kids.

For lunch, me and mum had Sugarbuns :)
It's like their KFC over there.
Only east malaysia has Sugarbuns..
I'm not so much of a fast food person but since I was there why not give it a try..haha

I was so curious on the 1st of at work where I see so many people walking around holding a tall twisted ice cream..looks something like mcd's sundae cone except its taller and skinner.
I found out it was from Sugarbuns.lol!
Can't resist the temptation, I had one for myself :P

As for the next day, aunty Josephine came and pick us up from the hotel and brought us for one of the famous sarawak laksa & kon lou mee.
It's situated near grand continental hotel.

Sarawak laksa was pretty good too..Surprisingly it's not spicy at all.
You have to add in the belacan that they gave for it to have a slight pinch of spiciness :)

After breakfast, aunty Josephine was nice enough to drive us around for some sight-seeing and to snap some pics before we head to work.

Back from penang

Holla dearies!

I just got back from Penang last night!
It was a great trip but damn tiring.
Thanks to Air asia, my flight got delayed for half an hour and it sucks to wait when you're already so tired.
Supposed to depart from Penang at 11pm but delayed till 1130pm *haihz*
I slept throughout the entire journey back to kl. I was dead tired I swear.
Got home bout 145am and all I did was changed into my comfy house wear (big T's and shorts)
removed contacts and make up. Hug my baby patrick and slept like a pig till this morning bout 830.
I couldn't bare skipping classes for today so I dragged my feet and drove to uni for class at 10am.
I had management lecture and it was dead boring and I almost fell asleep.
I survived the 2 hours lecture and continued with cib tutorial for another 3 hours +__+
Oh boy..I survived 5 hours of continuous class in uni..Classes feel somewhat like a torture zone for me today =/
Class ended slightly earlier and I was feeling damnn hungry. I was craving for uncle lim's fried chicken rice at ss14! The boyf and I often go there for their fried chicken! It's one of the best I've ever tasted!
I tapao-ed and headed to pusat bandar damansara to pick mum. Unfortunately, due to their stupid system mum is not done with her passport since this morning at 10am..this is crazy weihh..I waited for her while enjoying my fried chicken rice in the car. After 2 hours of waiting she finally managed to collect her passport..pheww* I'm so happy..Finally get to go home! :)

That's pretty much for today dearies!

I know I've abandon my blog for quite a bit cause I was busy with my assignments and traveling around for the road trips.. Geez.. I still haven post bout my kuching trip..dayummm =/

Booyah!

I'm back from the city of meow meow, Kuching dearies!

did you miss me?haha :)

I took the earliest flight in the morning at 7.20am but unfortunately it got delayed for half an hour *sigh*

left Kuching bout close to 8am and touched down in kl bout 9.45am.

Grab a limo and rush for lecture in uni which starts at 10am.

I was tiny winy bit late but at least I didn't missed it *phew*

i was so darn tired during lecture and all i did was to eat & eat & eat!

Priya was back from US and she bought us tons of gummy bwearss! Thanks priyaaa!

they're so chewy and I lurve gummy bwear as much as i love my boyf..lol..jk :)

Amanda was back from vietnam and she got us 'kisses' chocolates! yums!

she was spreading her kisses all over the lecture hall..haha

Sebastian got back from cameron and he got us strawberriesss! they were so sweeet *nyums*

So you see..I was practically enjoying myself eating gummy bears, chocolates & strawberries!

When i got home, I was missing the boyf so dearly and somehow he could just sense me and gave me a call :)

It's simply amazing how he could just brighten my day even by hearing his voice

As you know, I'm so tied down with so many assignments lately *sigh*

I've got a mid sem test to sit for and an assignment to hand in this wednesday *sobs*

I don't have much time to spare..somebody saveee mee :(

It's time to pack up

Holidays begins today *woohoo*
I'm feeling extremely tired right now :(
Had 8am lecture this morning and I was dreading to go uni.
Good thing the road was free of traffic today..man i love school holidays!
Anyhow I did attend marketing lecture and handed in management assignment cause it's due today.
I almost fell asleep during lecture but my marketing lecturer was picking on me and she kept calling me to answer her questions =.=
Survived through the 2 hours lecture and had 2 hours of break after that.
I was spending my break in the library doing discuss and h.work..actually more of chit chatting..lol
Continued with marketing tutorial & replacement class for consumer behavior till 4pm :(
I had 6 hours of the same lecturer today *faint*
what a dayyy..fml

I'm so glad to be home right now..
Guess what dearies..
I'll be leaving for Kuching tomorrow for the ING Roadshow event and my flight is in the evening.
I'm working during the weekends and I'll be back by sunday night.
dayummm..marketing assignment due next week & i'll be sitting for cb test *sigh*

I'm feeling so lazy to pack right now..lalala

Fruitful shopping trip

I was the chauffeur for the day!
Together with my lil bro and sis, we head to sg.wang and times square for a shopping blast
Got to sg.wang bout 11.30am and I was surprise to see that their parking has become so canggih already.
It's equipped with touch n go as well as the parking lot sensor. Just like ones they have in sunway piramid..haha!
We parked our car and walked to times square to shop and later on back to sg.wang.
It's been ages since I last shop in times square and I didn't know that there are so many more stuff compared to sg.wang. Tons of shops and prices are slightly cheaper than sg.wang.
From today onwards, ts will be in the top of my list to shop for nice & cheap clothes.
I was pretty happy with a couple of stuff that I bought today *smiles* I wish I had more time to shop though =/ 5 hours wasn't enough..lol!

We left bout 4.30pm to avoid the jam. On the way leaving town we pick up mummy from her office.
Earlier today, mummy called saying that she fell and she sprained her ankle :(
My heart sunk when I heard her saying that. I felt the pain for mum and I pitied her *sobs*
When I pick mum up, I saw her walking towards my car limping and I felt even worst to see her like that.. Inside me I felt her pain.. Unfortunately it was her right ankle that she has sprained and she couldn't drive for the mean time. Later in the evening, sis had a birthday party to attend in Gardens and I was the chauffeur..I was grumbling all the way cause of the horrendous traffic..At the end of the day, It's okie that I was stuck in the car and had to faced to stupid traffic because I did it all for my mum :)
Hopefully she'll get well soon and be able to travel with me this thursday :)

A little something that I did exactly one week ago during management lecture

I was so bored during lecture and I could hardly concentrate 

So I pick up a pen and started scribbling on my sticky pad

Quick update for today

• wasn't been able to sleep well for the whole of last night
• was up at 5.30am cause I was woken up by a text
• went back to bed at 6am and the 2 hours of sleep I had, I slept like a baby
• mummy drop me to uni cause she was off today
• reached uni for lecture but it was cancelled due to some talk
• skipped the talk and hung around the library to do research for marketing assignment. 1st time being so hardworking since-i-dunno-when.lol
• had mini muffins and peanut butter with bread and survived through 3 hours of cib class
• boyf called saying that he touched down safely in melb :)
• mummy came and pick me after class and headed to giant for grocery shopping.
• today marks the happiest day of my life for the past 3 days

Tomorrow i'll be off. Since sis is on holidays, we decided to do some shopping in sg.wang & time square *eeek* I can't wait. i seriously miss shopping and i'm in a major need of new clothes!

weekend seems to have passed so slowly

Finally its sunday, a day that i've been waiting for..
Guess what, my dear mummy will be back tonight!
I do sound like I'm a mummy's girl right?haha
Maybe I am :)
It just feels so not normal to not have my mum around.
I feel lonely and left out
I have no one to watch tv dramas with
I have no breakfast from the market like every other saturdays
and I have no one to dine with on the dinner table at nite..
I miss my mum!

You know what? from this week onwards I've learnt to live without eyeliner
I step out the house to attend classes with no eyeliner.
That was something huge for me as I've always been so dependent on my eyeliner
and I constantly have to use makeup remover..bad bad for the skin.
Now i've learn to put my eyeliner aside and I go light with just mascara :)
It's healthier for my skin this way.
I believe you girls know how much damage makeup can do to our skin.
We may not see the effects now but once we grow older, our skin will tell.
Try to live without it if you can :)

I bet this is the first time you're seeing me without any eyeliner
Just a light touch of mascara and thats it. Anyway, can't really see the mascara also..lol
So this is me behind all that thick eyeliner and falsies
Lots of difference?Do I look okie?
Maybe a little 'chan' right..haha

Short update (:

Hey dearies!
Did you misssed me?!
I know its been way too long since i last updated my blog..sorry!
But here I am today posting all about my outdated post..haha!
The reason why i wasn't able to update its cause of my bitchy assignments *ugh*
Anytime anyone mention assignments..they'll be like "oh yeahh,assignments are bitches!" LOL!
I've been so occupied in doing research for every assignments.
Finally, today I am able to breath again :) In the mean time, no staying up late and waking up early for assignments!

1. consumer behavior  (due this week)
2. communication in business (due next monday)
3. management (due next tuesday)
4. consumer behavior mid semester test (15th sep)
5. marketing (due on the 17th sep)

These are just individual assignments. Wait till the group assignments come *dieee*
For assignments, the most hyperventilating part is when you've got to 1st submit it to turnitin.
Have you heard of it before? It's a system online where they can detect how many % of plagiarism you have from the net. It's crazyy!
Once you get a % of higher than 25% you have to redo ur assignment.
You only get 2 chances and thats it.

So I'm glad the nightmare is over for my 1st few assignments *phewww*
On thurs, mummy & sis left for KK and they'll be back on sunday, the house seems to be so quiet.
I feel lonelyyyy at home :( It feels weird when my mum is not around, I'm so not used to it!
I've missed her since the moment she stepped out of the house knowing that she'll be back 3days later :(

Oh well, what a lonely weekend..
I'm lazy to go out cause I'm lazy to dress up.
Pimples are popping out due to stresssss & insufficient sleep *gah*
So not gonna go out to show my face..lol
