Dear lovelies,
How have ya'll been doing?
Started off the week with a great monday?
I bet some of you was feeling the monday blues?
I was feeling that when I woke up this morning.
Weekend seems to have passed so quickly didn't it?
I wish weekends would have last a little longer. I bet everyone longs for that..right? :)
I didn't really do much during the weekends except for blogging and watching a couple of movies.
It has some sort became a drug lately.
I've spend the weekends watching Never back down, Tekken & The Last Airbender.
All 3 it's all about fighting and fighting..lol
As for today, I got to uni and got a proper parking space and paid for meter parking.
I don't want to get anymore 'love letters' *brrr* I've learnt my lesson already *smiles*
class was pretty boring and I just couldn't wait for class to be over. 2 lectures & a tutorial seems to last forever.
I'm relief that I've settled my books. Glad that I've got seniors to buy from :)
Got home..laze around and catched Holly's World tv series.
After dinner, sis recommended me to watch Hachiko A Dogs Story.
So worth watching. I had a tissue box accompanying me throughout the entire movie.
It is super sad, touching and heart warming. I bet anyone of you who would have watched it would tear.
It's based on a true story
Here's how the story goes...
In 1924, Hidesaburō Ueno, a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo took in Hachikō as a pet. During his owner's life Hachikō saw him out from the front door and greeted him at the end of the day at the nearby Shibuya Station. The pair continued their daily routine until May 1925, when Professor Ueno did not return on the usual train one evening. The professor had suffered from a cerebral hemorrhage at the university that day. He died and never returned to the train station where his friend was waiting. Hachikō was loyal and every day for the next nine years he waited sitting there amongst the town's folk.
Hachikō was given away after his master's death, but he routinely escaped, showing up again and again at his old home. Eventually, Hachikō apparently realized that Professor Ueno no longer lived at the house. So he went to look for his master at the train station where he had accompanied him so many times before. Each day, Hachikō waited for Professor Ueno to return. And each day he did not see his friend among the commuters at the station.
The permanent fixture at the train station that was Hachikō attracted the attention of other commuters. Many of the people who frequented the Shibuya train station had seen Hachikō and Professor Ueno together each day. They brought Hachikō treats and food to nourish him during his wait.
This continued for nine years with Hachikō appearing precisely when the train was due at the station.
so sad isn't it. its amazing how a dog can learn to be so faithful and loyal towards his dear owner.
awww..isn't he cute! :)
exactly 5pm every evening hachiko will be waiting on the exact same spot.
That's a little something to share :)
Stay tune with more updates!
have a great week ahead aite!
*cheers*
